Way to go Raiders! The Highland Park shooting club By: Makayla Morgan   There’s a new club in Highland Park and it’s popularity is shooting up. With twenty-two students so far the skeet-shooting club is already full. “We’re actually getting really full,” said eighth grade shooting club member, Rhodes Miller. The shooting club is for anyone from grades 6-12 who wants to learn to shoot.   “It’s a really fun sport,” said Miller. Skeet shooting is a sport where a clay disk is thrown in the air to simulate a bird. Then the shooter tries to shoot the skeet out of the air with a rifle. The goal of the club is to have fun shooting.   The club meets every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at Elm Fork shooting range. John Calandro, Jr., John Harris and John Calandro, Sr. head the club. 3/24/14 11:04 AM 3/24/14 9:12
