SPOTLIGHT : JEEP JAMBOREE

The Jeep Jamboree is an annual event in Williamsburg that is organized by Jeep Jamboree USA . It is held in the Cumberland Mountains with majestic scenery all around . Jeep Jamboree has been around for over 30 years with hundreds of individuals from across the world giving it a visit . This year , the event will last from October 17 to October 19 , making for the 31st Gateway to the Cumberlands .
It is no coincidence that the event takes place in October each year , during Autumn . “ The leaves turn and it ’ s just a beautiful time of the year for it ,” stated Alvin Sharpe , Williamsburg ’ s tourism director . The unique Appalachian scenery persuades attendees to return to the event as a yearly tradition . Guests especially enjoy the natural beauty that the mountains and rivers in the area have to offer .
There are many trails in Whitley County in which tour guides will assist attendees through , covering both land and water . The trails vary in difficulty , so newcomers and regular attendees alike can enjoy off-road challenges that are tailored to their specific preferences and skill-level .
Williamsburg ’ s Jeep Jamboree has become one of the most populated events sponsored by Jeep Jamboree USA in the world . Sharpe credits the hospitality of Whitley County for this . “ It has become a large event . People love Williamsburg and the hospitality . It feels like home , and they love
