The Mint Cumberland Run in Corbin is a sister location to The Mint Cumberland in Williamsburg . It is relatively new , as it opened in July of 2023 , and it is already a favored spot among citizens of the area .

The gaming hall welcomes anyone above the age of 21 . Although individuals 18 + may bet on the live horse races , they are not permitted to enter the gaming hall . “ While the gaming area is age restricted , guests of all ages are welcomed at the live races with a large tent and picnic tables , along with food and beverage stands , in the stretch area bracketing the finish line , offering a closeup view of the horses and a festive outdoor environment with the backdrop of spectacular fall foliage ,” stated Jennie Rees , simulcast consultant .
The facility also supplies food and drinks . Foods served at Cumberland Run include but are not limited to chicken tenders , wings , mini corn dogs , onion rings , french fries , mozzarella triangles , jalapeno poppers , egg rolls , breakfast croissants , and desserts . During the 2023 races , around 9 vendors came to serve attendees of the event . The meets were entertaining even to them , as multiple vendors stayed around until the end .
