From its tree-lined streets adorned with colored lights , highlighted by the buildings along Main Street , London is the hubbub of activity ranging from music and arts to sports and history .
Resemblant of its mother city in England , the downtown decor features lamp posts connected by black iron fences offset with flower beds and baskets of rainbow colors . Small flowering trees along Main Street through downtown add to the beauty but are brought back to brightness with multi-colored lights during the holiday season .
Tourism continues to increase with Town Center summer concerts , the Christmas driving tour and Christmas drone show that offset the yearly World Chicken Festival and Redbud Ride .
London Mayor Randall Weddle is proud of the progress of the city and looks forward to what will unfold in the future .
