TRACING THE DRAFT’ S JOURNEY

• The 2025 NFL Draft took place April 24-26 in Green Bay, the NFL’ s smallest city and home of the NFL’ s only community-owned team.
• Most draft-related events were near Lambeau Field and the Titletown District. Events included the NFL Draft Experience, a football festival near Lambeau Field featuring interactive exhibits, player appearances, and other activities.
• A highlight was the NFL Draft Theater, where prospects for the upcoming football season were announced. In past years, players selected in the first round were typically in person on-stage with family and football fans nearby to celebrate with them.
• Recent drafts have brought more than 300,000 people daily to the host communities and have drawn more than 54 million viewers from around the world. More than 600,000 fans attended the NFL draft this year, more than doubling expectations of 250,000 people. Of those, 312,000 were unique visitors, surpassing Detroit’ s 2024 amount by 31 %.
• The draft had an estimated $ 80 million economic impact on Brown County, exceeding initial projections of $ 60 million, including spending on accommodations, restaurants, and retail. About 30 % of those attending were from out of state. Total gross spending for the broader region was estimated at $ 104.8 million. snowy) city hosted the league’ s biggest off-season event in the spring.
Thankfully, temperatures remained warm enough to prevent snow during the draft, and widespread rain and thunderstorms on two of the three days didn’ t prevent excited attendees from enjoying the festivities and visiting Titletown’ s businesses and restaurants.
Total NFL draft attendance over the three days exceeded the City’ s and Village’ s expectations, topping 600,000 people, the second-highest attendance in draft history and more than doubling initial estimates. Ayres’ designed road and pedestrian improvements served to funnel the increased foot traffic safely and efficiently in and around the draft stages, becoming a successful part of NFL draft preparations and the overall event.
