Ayres Associates provided civil-site design for the wind farm, including access roads, assembly areas, crane pads, and public intersection improvements. Services included construction administration and observation. The Bent Tree Wind Farm includes 122 wind turbine locations that supply up to 200 megawatts of electricity. The project area stretches across 80 square miles of southeastern Minnesota and is owned by Alliant Energy. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between Earth and the sun and totally or partially obscures the image of the sun for a viewer on Earth. This eclipse occurs when the moon’s diameter is smaller than the sun, causing the sun to look like an annulus (ring), blocking most of the sun’s light. This type of eclipse is also known as the “Ring of Fire.”
