The TIDAs start within a country, with awards programmes NEW ZEALAND GROUP HOME BUILDER LANDMARK HOMES NORTH SHORE/RODNEY organised by Trends or by professional organisations. AO ARCHITECTURE Freeman Ball Developments is the winner of the category BORRMEISTER ARCHITECTS TIDA New Zealand Designer New Home. CONDON SCOTT ARCHITECTS Daniel Lomma Design is the winner of the category TIDA Australia Designer New Home. CREATIVE ARCH DAVID REID HOMES COUNTIES (RUNNER-UP) DAVID REID KAPITI These two homes demonstrate how top designers incorporate DAVID REID QUEENSTOWN easy indoor-outdoor connections in their plans, in response to DUNLOP DESIGN / PATERSON CULLEN ARCHAUS very different settings. One is a suburban home that has blank ELISKA LEWIS ARCHITECTS facades on its two street frontages to preserve privacy, while GJ GARDNER HOMES RODNEY EAST its back facade is fully open to an outdoor living courtyard GJ GARDNER HOMES TAURANGA and pool. The other – a rural property – has no such privacy HIGHAM ARCHITECTURE concerns, and so has a fully glazed front facade JESSOP ARCHITECTS (RUNNER-UP) These homes now progress to join other category winners in the international awards section, with the supreme winners to be announced in March 2020.
