Left: Looking more like an art gallery
than a bathroom, the wet zone’s
generous size allowed for a free-
standing tub, a large shower and
even a contemporary designer urn on
a stone plinth – with plenty of space
in between. Contrasting the broad
use of classic stone, the fittings in the
bathroom are black and decidedly
modern. A tall louvred window
allows for views out and sunlight
in – brightening what had been a
dark corner of the home before the
bathroom was relocated here.
