The Trends International Design Awards are an opportunity to recognise outstanding homes in a variety of countries.
A strong request from owners is for their new home to have plenty of natural light and to be well connected to outdoor
areas, particularly at the rear of the home. The two winning family homes featured here address both those aspects in
very different environments – one in a suburban setting and the other on a rural site with no close neighbours.
