Architect Prineas’ bathroom design skilfully overcomes the challenges of providing all the requirements of a contemporary bathroom
while at the same time respecting the character of the 1890s Grand Italianate Sydney terrace home in which it is found.
The bathroom itself is a mirror-clad central pod insertion in a space that retains original features such as the fireplace and the
wooden floorboards.
This gives a clean, uncluttered look to the room, which is enhanced by a wealth of discreet storage.
This bathroom also won TIDA Australian Bathroom of the Year.
The TIDA New Zealand Bathroom of the Year was awarded to Fraser Cameron of Fraser Cameron Architects, Taupo.
