Productivity pack serves as jump-starter for firms using Revit as a building information modeling tool

Building information modeling , or BIM , is Blake Guither ’ s world . As a mechanical engineer at Gausman & Moore , a division of Ayres , he lives and breathes it daily – incorporating the process into essentially every design he touches . And , to him , it ’ s all really about the “ I .”

“ That ’ s kind of where this story begins ,” said Guither , a designer and project manager for education , military , retail , commercial , industrial , and institutional projects . “ It starts with the information .”
But a few other “ I ” words are also key to this story – namely words like “ innovation ,” “ ingenuity ,” and “ inventive .”
For the past seven years , Guither has been developing a Mechanical , Electrical , Plumbing Productivity Pack ( MEPPP ), which is a streamlined " Starting Model " for the Autodesk Revit building modeling software to help engineers speed up their important but often time-sensitive work .
