In an effort to continue to advocate for education from the capital to the classroom,
Professional Educators of Tennessee is excited about furthering our involvement with
DonorsChoose.org. In 2017, with our member benefits partners at Association Member
Benefits Advisors (AMBA), we began assisting educators in using the DonorsChoose.org
resource, working with teachers to post new projects and awarding classroom grants. AMBA
is now a corporate partner with DonorsChoose.org and has tapped into more matching
funds, best practices, funds for individual
projects and more.
Over the coming year, we will be working
to help fund more classroom projects across
the state. We are honored to share the
experiences of other educators who receive
materials and experiences from private funds
so that our members can take advantage of
this great opportunity.
