TREASURE MAPPING FOR A SINGLE GOAL OR SEVERAL GOALS
For a single goal, such as a job, relationship, travel, or new house or car, you can get a page of colored construction paper or large poster board and paste your pictures on it. Use a color that connects with you and your goal. Use green or gold for prosperity, blue or green for relationships or relaxation, red or orange for a new position or some change in your life, purple or lavender for spiritual growth.
For several different goals, you can get a poster board and divide it into the areas of your goals. You could segment it into four parts, such as: work, play, relationships, and health. Then paste the pictures and write the affirmations as you would with a single sheet in each area. At the center, you could have a picture and affirmation that recognizes that the Universe is the Source of your good
What Kind of Treasure Map should you do?
Be creative – be imaginative – think big! Some samples of Treasure Maps:
� Boxes- Take a shoebox and paste magazine clippings, pictures and photos on the outside representing the life you are creating. This is now your " creation box " and as you gather images that represent what you desire- drop them into your box with a prayer.
� Poster boards- Use a large poster-board( any color) and cover the entire board with pictures and words that represent what you desire to create. OR
Take a larger poster-board and cut into 4 sections, each section becomes a different goal or area of your life.
� Cardboard / Foam Board – Stick pictures on with affirmations – once you receive what you have asked for – remove and put up something else.
� Manila folder- cover all sides with pictures, images, and magazine clippings and then store your loose clippings, journal notes inside the folder
� Journal; write down your goals in the form of affirmations and cut / paste one or two images on each page that conjure the feeling or motivation needed to achieve each goal.
