Lady Titans Shut Down Vero

today with a 2-0 no-hitter against Vero Beach High School. and had 12 RBI’s while striking out only once.

Titan ace flame thrower Katlyn McCue threw all 7 innings
allowing no hits, fanning 7 and allowing only 2 walks. 65%
of McCue’s 94 pitches were for strikes with half of those
strikes coming on the first pitch.
Vero Beach, a traditional powerhouse program, kept it
close thru 5 ½ innings until the Titan’s sensational 3rd
baseman, Megan Lewis, broke a 0-0 deadlock with a shot
into left field scoring Megan Wichern and Troiana Test. It

umpire calls before being threatened with restriction to
the dugout by the home plate umpire.

Lady Cobra’s on Fire

March 14, 2014 –Port St. Lucie, FL > Not to be outdone by
their boy counterparts on the school’s baseball team, the
Fort Pierce Central Lady Cobra Softball team is off to their
best start in over 2 decades.

The 8-3 Cobra’s took control of a game at Port St. Lucie on
Friday afternoon crossing the plate 16 times in the 1st inning.
Mighty Crystal Grimaldo had a 3 hitter in the circle and went
3-3 at the plate while teammate Savannah Houle connected
at the plate for 2 hits, scored 3 runs and knocked in 1 RBI.
