The financial implication to the Vaughn
family is not a major concern according
to his folks, as they have been tirelessly
socking money away for both of their
children’s educations since the day
they were born.

“Any parent who plans for their child’s
future by consistently setting aside
money for their education will find it
much easier to write that check when
the time comes,” says Sam’s father, a
University of Georgia grad himself.
“We are fortunate that we have a
steady income and that we have been
able to provide for our children in the
way in which we have wanted to. It really stresses the importance of a college education in todays’ Bulldog vs
Bulldog world,” the senior Vaughn says.

As for his son attending the same
school that he did, Sam’s dad could not
be prouder.
“We have always told both our kids
that we will support their decision for
any school that they choose to attend.
I’m just beyond words as to how
thrilled I am this opportunity presented itself to Sam. I am so proud of
what he has accomplished both academically and athletically at Fort Pierce
Central. We owe a lot to the Central
teachers, administrators and coaches. I
cannot say enough about how helpful
and encouraging the Georgia staff has
been during this process. This is indeed, a dream come true. My only regret is that his grandfathers and his
biggest fan, Lenny Davis, are not here
to witness this,” said Sam's Dad.
