COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Recommendations Independent feedback unit An independent online feedback unit could be created to identify unmet needs and concerns of the Indian community and gather constructive feedback. Online platforms are convenient and easily accessible for users. This feedback will assist Indian organisations in filtering issues and referring them to relevant community partners. The feedback unit could be moderated by representatives from different Indian organisations such as the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) and Narpani to ensure efficiency. This channel will help to gain greater insight, address any emerging issues and offer a platform for Indians to engage with Indian organisations. This will be aimed at individuals within the Indian community who have a digital presence, and we hope that the feedback unit’s presence will encourage more people to cultivate a culture of constant online feedback. Overall, we hope to see greater insight and feedback from the ground, particularly from those who find difficulty in voicing their concerns. Its success could be measured by the amount and quality of feedback received, as well as responses to them by community leaders and organisations. This initiative requires collaboration and coordination from participating Indian organizations. Additional manpower may be required to manage the feedback unit and ensure efficiency.
