Fort Collins, CO team members dug up landscaping plants from a planned expansion of the Teaching Tree Early Childhood Center (United Way affiliate) for replanting at the Gardens at Spring Creek (City of Fort Collins affiliate). The Early Childhood Center is getting access to a butterfly pavilion, so TRC was able to help two different groups by providing labor to save the landscaping plants - many of which were native species. Members of the Indianapolis team and their families partnered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Inc. to participate in a large-scale spring cleaning event. The project tackled litter abatement, tree planting, a mural and more. The TRC group focused on native plant installation. Employees from the New York City office volunteered to clean up Corlears Hook Park in the Lower East Side shoreline of Manhattan. The team raked a large lawn full of dead branches and debris then collected all the materials for removal. The team also lifted and prepared heavy bags of organic matter and weeds for collection and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Team members from the Windsor, CT office participated in the annual clean up around the office complex. The amount of waste that was found around the offices and ponds was alarming. At the end of the event they were all proud to have helped make a difference! 47
