TRC 2018 Sustainability Report TRC 2018 Sustainability Report | Page 5

In FY18 we achieved a 14% reduction in energy use within our offices, over our 2014 baseline. We have achieved a 37% reduction in paper use over the past three years and 96% of our offices are currently recycling. As we have acquired new businesses, the composition and efficiency of our fleet has changed and resulted in challenges in decreasing emissions associated with our fleet vehicles, but we continue to work to optimize the fleet, including replacing light duty trucks with mid-size SUVs. We continue to emphasize our strong commitment to health and safety. While “zero incidents/zero harm” will always be our goal, our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of .49 for FY18 reflects a strong performance in FY18, with effective en- gagement and commitment to continual improvement in our program across our organization. Attracting and retaining the best and brightest minds to bring thought leadership and innovative approaches to the market is critical to our growth objectives, so we continue to make investments to better support and engage our current and future employees. This year, a select group of summer interns participated in a Sustainabil- ity Capstone Project. Working with assigned technical and sustainability mentors, they collaboratively evaluated project assignments from a sustainability perspective, explored options to scale sustainable solutions, and presented findings to our senior managers and operational leaders. Through teamwork, creativity, and passion we can advance positive social, environ- mental, and economic outcomes – providing a tremendous opportunity to achieve our Vision of making the Earth a better place to live and creating lasting value for our clients, our employees, and all stakeholders. We thank you for your support and welcome feedback on our program and progress. Christopher P. Vincze Chairman and CEO of TRC 3
