TRC | 2017 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
BUILDING SUSTAINABILITY CONNECTIONS
Our Corporate Sustainability Committee has responsibility for aligning our sustainability efforts with the business
strategy; championing the efforts through the organization; and advancing sustainability communications and
helping identify/provide/approve resources to implement our program. The Committee provides input to and receives
feedback from the New Mountain Capital (NMC) ESG Committee and actively supports both our Sustainability
Coordinator Network and our Sustainability Advisory Services Workgroup.
Approximately 45 volunteers serve as office and regional representatives within our Sustainability Coordinator
Network, sharing insights and promoting sustainability initiatives. The network has monthly conference calls, as
well as smaller team efforts, focused on developing and sharing best practices. We utilize monthly talking points for
meetings; sustainability blog posts and discussion boards; webinars for awareness building; and face-to-face office
green team meetings.
Within the network we also have formed workgroups focused on office energy reduction, recycling and materials
management, technical tools, communications and community engagement initiatives.
We also work with our Sustainability Advisory Services team, which consists of approximately 20 market-facing
professionals from various technical practices and business development functions. The team shares market
insights and promotes broader awareness via webinars regarding TRC sustainability services with the goal of driving
sustainable solutions for our clients.
Our sustainability efforts are supported by many others throughout the organization in various ways and we invite
all our employees to actively participate and contribute.
