TRC | 2017 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT INVESTING IN OUR EMPLOYEES Our people and our client relationships are central to our ability to create value and achieve our Vision. Providing superior solutions to our clients requires consistent investment in and engagement with our employees. With over 4,000 technical professionals and support personnel at more than 120 offices, we work together to succeed. We encourage collaborative teams in which each member is treated with respect and recognized for their efforts and contributions. We strive to be an employer of choice for our valued employee base. Our objective is to maintain a workplace where the best people in our industry will want to work and will be challenged by meaningful projects, rewarded for successful perfor- mance and motivated to develop entrepreneurial and project management skills. Part of this effort involves keeping our ear on the pulse of the issues that affect our employees. To achieve this, we launched the People Committee in January 2017, in pursuit of “becoming the best” employer in our industry. Our People Committee represents diverse generations, geographies, genders and experience levels in the company. It is a cross-functional team that spans all our operating sectors and shared services, ensuring that every aspect of our business is reflected. This committee serves as a key advisory body to senior leadership concerning all elements that make TRC a great place to work. One of the things that sets TRC apart as a great place “ to work is the fusion of the entrepreneurial spirit of our operating sectors and the commitment to performance excellence through rigorous corporate governance. TRC’s People Committee helps our leadership team stay connected to the priorities of our greatest asset, our people. We are proud of the impact this group of 30 people from across our geographies and demographics contributes to the success of TRC in making ours a great place to work.
