TRC | 2017 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
CLEAN ENERGY AND CLIMATE ACTION
We recognize climate change and its adverse effects as one of the most significant challenges of our time. In response
to client requests we have reported our strategy, risks and opportunities related to climate change through the CDP
Supply Chain Module for the past three years.
We work hard to measure and manage our own footprint within our offices and business travel, but we also know
that we can have a far greater cumulative impact through our services that support our clients’ clean energy and
climate goals.
In one year, our Energy Efficiency group managed projects that saved 3 billion kilowatt-hours. That’s equivalent to…
All 4,000 TRC employees
being carbon neutral for
37
years
All TRC employees’ household
electricity consumption for
77
years
TRC employees planting
79
million
new trees
In 2016 we set a target to advance our clean energy services and were successful in achieving a 52% increase in
year-over-year growth in revenue from energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy storage services.
ACROSS THE COUNTRY WE HAVE HELPED UTILITIES AND DEVELOPERS BRING 30,400
MEGAWATTS TO MARKET IN RENEWABLE ENERGY.
