In addition to growing organically, our acquisitions over the past three years have added approximately 1,200 professional and support staff, expanding our resource base, technical expertise and geographic reach.
Our onboarding programs include a 30-day survey for new hires, and a formalized new hire goal-setting program. We know that exposing new employees to the many, unique facets of TRC’ s strong organizational culture is vital to the recruiting and retention of our best talent. This includes the balance of support and independence afforded our staff to find their niche in contributing their market knowledge, technical skills and entrepreneurial spirit to be successful as individuals while contributing to TRC’ s overall success.
We are also working with our recruiters and hiring managers in FY17 to both better understand the sustainability skills of potential hires and collect information on their interest in our sustainability initiatives, so that we continue attracting candidates to serve market needs and ensure we are responsive to their professional interests.

We are also implementing a formal talent review process to identify pipeline and development imperatives to support the growth and development of critical experts and leaders in our industry.
