Explain sources of power and authority in political systems
To : Mother Russia .
Let me help you see , please , The coalition is a game of pretend . You know they ’ ll change them anyway . But beware , The monopoly of violence is a threat . KGB are the administration , one third , And the people are scared .
Just a second , please , Why does your eagle scream in grief , Or the metal of your sword sound so weak ? I ’ ve never seen your tears run so freely since Yeltsin .
Hear me out , please , Look at how your sons come to power , Meeting their best friends , Owners of oil , gas … You ’ re in need of a cleanse .
Listen , please , Putin fulfilled what he Promised pride , economic growth , and reforms . He has legitimacy , but at what cost ?
Stop crying , please , Your tears , they fall in despair When will all of this pain end ? It ’ s a story of show , not tell .
Money is flowing against the current , It falls under the wrong hands . Now it does things that before it couldn ’ t , And free countries are under attack .
This is the last time I ’ m begging you to wake up Please , just understand .
