Indian Riders Fest Targets Another Record in 2027

Indian Motorcycle has confirmed it will continue its support of Indian Riders Fest( IRF), with the seventh edition of the international gathering set to return to Lipno nad Vltavou in the Czech Republic from 17 – 20 June 2027.
Organised by Legendary Productions, IRF has grown into the world’ s largest gathering of Indian Motorcycle riders. The 2026 event, held as part of Indian Motorcycle’ s 125th anniversary celebrations, attracted more than 4,800 attendees riding nearly 3,000 motorcycles.
Riders travelled to South Bohemia from 46 countries, with 84 Indian Motorcycle Riders Groups( IMRGs) represented. The event also attracted riders from as far afield as Japan, reinforcing its growing international appeal.
One of the highlights was the traditional Saturday Parade Ride, which marked the brand’ s 125th anniversary with a 125-kilometre route. Between 1,000 and 1,200 motorcycles took part, forming an estimated 18-kilometre-long procession through the South Bohemian countryside.
The growth of the event has been substantial. The inaugural IRF in 2019 attracted just 419 riders, while the latest edition brought attendance close to 5,000.
“ Every year, we look at how we can create the best Indian Motorcycle event in the world, and I’ m very proud of what we achieved this year,” said Jean-Marie Guyon, Event Manager for Legendary Productions.“ From just 419 riders in 2019 to nearly 5,000 this year, we’ re already hard at work preparing for IRF27 to ensure we deliver the biggest and best event possible.”
For 2027, the event will adopt the theme Ride the Legend, with organisers promising to expand the festival beyond its traditional home around Lipno nad Vltavou.
While full details are yet to be released, organisers have confirmed plans to introduce new locations and activities, including a drag strip at an airfield. A new festival rally will also give riders the opportunity to explore the South Bohemian region via a curated roadbook route, taking in some of the area ' s riding roads and
scenery.
The AMD-Approved Budweis Custom Show will return, continuing its role as an international custom motorcycle showcase dedicated exclusively to Indian Motorcycle. The event will again bring together custom builders and Indian Motorcycle dealers from across Europe.
Alongside the riding and custom-bike elements, IRF27 will feature the Indian Motorcycle Village, an exhibition area, evening concerts, demo rides on the latest Indian Motorcycle models, stunt shows and the Wall of Death. The huge Parade Ride will once again form one of the centrepieces of the festival.
Christophe Thevenet, Director of International Sales for Indian Motorcycle, said the event had become an important fixture outside North America.
“ The growth of the IRF has been impressive, and it has become a highlight of the event calendar outside of North America,” said Thevenet.“ It’ s the riders that make everything possible, and it’ s been a real privilege to meet and thank people from so many countries during this special year for Indian Motorcycle.”
