Each June, the red heart of Australia becomes the stage for one of the world ' s toughest off-road races. The Finke Desert Race sends riders and drivers charging between Alice Springs and Aputula( Finke), where blistering speeds, deep sand and relentless terrain create an unforgiving test of skill, endurance and determination. We sat down with Vikki Cox, a first-timer for her take on one of the world ' s toughest bike races.
