The New Suzuki SV-7GX
A 17.4-litre fuel tank and claimed fuel consumption of around 4.2L / 100km give the bike a theoretical range of more than 400 kilometres between stops. The chassis retains Suzuki’ s steel trellis frame, 41mm conventional forks and a preload-adjustable rear shock, while 17-inch wheels shod with sport-touring tyres reinforce the bike’ s road-biased intentions.
The SV-7GX also brings the SV platform into the digital era with a full-colour TFT display, smartphone connectivity through Suzuki Ride Connect +, full LED lighting and USB-C charging.
In many respects, the new model feels like a natural evolution of both the SV650 and the V-Strom 650, combining the engaging performance of the former with the everyday versatility of the latter. For riders seeking a practical, characterful middleweight capable of tackling daily duties and longer adventures with equal ease, the SV-7GX could prove to be one of Suzuki’ s most compelling releases in recent years.
