This seventh and final stage of the TransAnatolia Rally Raid 2025, which moved westwards towards Istanbul, produced a winner in each category and reflected a completely different and new image of Türkiye with breathtaking mountain stages.
The final stage destination and thus also the end of TransAnatolia was in the mountains, in the tourist resort of Avant. However, extremely foggy conditions and very heavy rain meant that the second part of the seventh stage had to be cancelled.
In the end, it was a week full of action and impressions that showed rural Anatolia and Türkiye itself at their absolute best.
There will be another TransAnatolia Rally Raid in 2026. That is the plan. In even more difficult terrain and in even more isolated areas in Eastern Anatolia, as well as in a slightly modified format with increasingly targeted action and hopefully more foreign participants.
One thing is already certain: no matter where in Anatolia the participants will be letting off steam in 2026, the landscapes, the food, the people, and the culture that go hand in hand with the TransAnatolia will be unbeatable. TP
