TRAVERSE 20
Estate from 27 February to 1 March 2026— another major opportunity for women in Tasmania’ s off-road scene. This year’ s Female Ambassador is Kat, whose mission is to encourage more women to attend, ride and feel comfortable at a large-scale motorcycling event that can otherwise feel intimidating. She will be offering coaching, guidance and even emotional support for women attending on their own— a familiar face to ride with, camp beside or simply help them find their feet.
“ We’ re aiming for the biggest year yet for female entrants, so grab your bike, bring your friends and join the fun!” she said.
Spoke, with its beach races, grass track events, moto polo, gymkhana, displays, demos and team enduro, is designed for riders of all levels. With a dedicated ambassador supporting women from the moment they arrive, it has the potential to become another anchor point for a growing and increasingly confident female riding community in Tasmania.
What began as a single weekend of coaching has become a catalyst for something larger— a shift in culture, a strengthening of community and a reaffirmation that when women are given space, support and the freedom to learn without judgement, they do more than ride. They rise. TRAVERSE
