Royal Enfield Reveals the Himalayan Mana Black Edition

Royal Enfield used the stage at EICMA 2025 to unveil a darker, bolder take on its adventure flagship: the Himalayan Mana Black Edition. Rather than simply adding another colour to the catalogue, the company has turned to one of the world’ s highest and harshest motorable routes for inspiration. Mana Pass— remote, wind-scoured and sitting at an oxygen-thin 18,478 feet— has long been a proving ground for riders who thrive on difficulty. It is this spirit of endurance and quiet determination that Royal Enfield has tried to bottle in the new variant.
The Mana Black Edition arrives dressed entirely in deep, matte Stealth Black, a finish that strips the bike back to an elemental simplicity. The look is intentional— minimal, purposeful and clearly skewed toward riders who consider the dirt not a detour but the whole point of the journey. Subtle ergonomic tweaks centre the rider for better off-road control, giving the bike a stance that feels more mountain-ready than showroom-polished.
To match the mood, Royal Enfield has delivered the Mana Black as a fully factory-accessorised machine. The model rolls out with its adventure kit already bolted on: Black Rally handguards, a grippy Black Rally seat built for long stints in the saddle, a raised Rally mudguard for tougher trails and a set of tubeless spoked wheels that combine old-school resilience with modern practicality. It’ s a package designed not for embellishment, but for riders who want a motorcycle that arrives ready to head for the horizon.
Underlying the stealth treatment is the same newgeneration Himalayan platform, led by the Sherpa 450 engine. The motor’ s mix of usable power and calm composure keeps the bike equally at ease threading through city traffic or grinding up loose, high-altitude climbs. It’ s a continuation of Royal Enfield’ s philosophy of building machines that adapt to their environment and their rider— an ethos the company likes to frame as“ the Man, the Mindset and the Mountain.”
For now, the Mana Black Edition is being introduced to European markets, priced at € 6,600 in Italy and £ 6,400 in the UK, with bookings already open. As special editions go, it avoids the flashy and the overbuilt, opting instead to channel the quiet grit of the pass that inspired it. It’ s a Himalayan stripped to its elemental core— rugged, restrained and unmistakably ready for whatever lies beyond the last turn. TRAVERSE
