RELISH THE RIDE

WP SUSPENSION has unveiled its latest WP PRO COMPONENTS range, designed to significantly elevate the performance and riding experience of the smallcapacity 2025 KTM 125 / 390 ENDURO R and KTM 390 ADVENTURE R motorcycles.
The premium suspension upgrade, already available through WP Authorised Centres starting October 2025, is aimed at dual-sport and light off-road enthusiasts looking to push their machines to new limits. Developed from WP’ s extensive research and experience in top-tier motorsport— including the Dakar Rally and FIM Enduro World Championship— the PRO COMPONENTS series brings competition-grade engineering to everyday riders.
The flagship products in the range include the XPLOR PRO 6500 CARTRIDGE forks and the XPLOR PRO 6746 shock, both of which have been designed to enhance the responsiveness, handling, and terrain adaptability of KTM’ s lightweight enduro and adventure bikes.
The XPLOR PRO 6500 CARTRIDGE forks feature fully adjustable compression, rebound, and pre-load settings, as well as customizable spring rates. The open cartridge construction and lightweight design— tipping the scales at just 1.5 kg— offer superior cooling, reduced friction, and top-tier damping performance. These features aim to deliver“ refined feel, consistency and the impression of reinforced control from the front end,” regardless of surface or speed.
Complementing the forks is the XPLOR PRO 6746 shock, tailored for the same KTM models. Weighing in at only 3 kg, the shock includes high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjusters, along with spring pre-load settings, allowing riders to fine-tune suspension behavior with ease. CNC-milled aluminum components and other advanced materials underscore WP’ s commitment to lightweight performance and durability.
The WP PRO COMPONENTS line is derived from the same technology used in factory race bikes, and has been shaped by feedback from professional riders and rigorous lab and field testing.
Alexander Banzirsch, Chief Engineer Pro Components Offroad at WP Suspension, emphasized the leap in performance that these components bring to KTM’ s smaller displacement machines:
“ We know riders with a new KTM 125 / 390 ENDURO R or the KTM 390 ADVENTURE R in the garage will eventually wonder how far they can push the limits, and these special 2025 WP PRO COMPONENTS will provide some answers,” he said.
“ The key points for the XPLOR PRO 6500 CARTRIDGE forks and the XPLOR PRO 6746 shock is how we’ ve been able to bring a level of construction only seen on competition models to beef-up feedback. Being able to easily and accurately tweak the technology for the road or the trail or for any condition is another strong asset. Once again, fitting WP PRO COMPONENTS is a clear and effective way to exaggerate some of the best characteristics of a KTM motorcycle.”
With KTM’ s 2025 small-capacity models already praised for their torque, lightweight chassis, and versatility, the new WP PRO COMPONENTS offer riders an opportunity to take that performance to the next level— whether for aggressive trail riding, competitive events, or simply a more connected and responsive feel on challenging terrain.
Available now for order, these components are expected to attract both experienced off-roaders and newcomers seeking premium performance upgrades.
