On the final day, ride the razor’ s edge where history and nature collide. The riding is undoubtedly the toughest, straight into what Jase describes as“ light enduro”, although not for the feint hearted or uninitiated rider. It can be tough, and it is tough, yet the challenge is worthy of the reward with epic discoveries amongst the forests and hidden communities.
Popping out into the Sigatoka valley, the“ salad bowl” of Fiji, where over seventy percent of the nation’ s produce is grown, is a welcome respite. Michelle has lunch ready; cold drinks and delicious meals with goods from the region. It’ s the same every day, a local immersion that forms part of each ride.
