Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple: Colour, Faith, and Craftsmanship
Nadi’ s skyline is punctuated by the vivid, ornate domes of the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere. Its vibrancy is impossible to ignore— turquoise, tangerine, fuchsia, and gold intricately painted across its gopurams and walls.
Built by artisans brought in from India, the temple is dedicated to the deity Murugan and follows traditional Dravidian architecture. While modest in size compared to temples in India, its craftsmanship is exquisite, with hand-painted deities and frescoes inside that are as much a spiritual testament as they are an artistic marvel.
colour, faith, and craftsmanship, is the greatest way to describe Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami temple
