PRICES ANNOUNCED FOR NEW DRZ ' S

Suzuki GB has released pricing details for the newly introduced DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM models, both unveiled at EICMA last year. The dual-purpose DR-Z4S trail bike and its supermoto counterpart, the DR-Z4SM, will each be offered at an on-the-road price of GB £ 7,999.
Both motorcycles are powered by a new 398cc singlecylinder engine paired with a twin-spar steel frame featuring a separate, bolt-on aluminium subframe and aluminium swingarm. The DR-Z4S is equipped with 21” and 18” spoked wheels and long-travel KYB suspension, offering 280mm of front fork travel, 296mm of rear wheel travel, and 300mm of ground clearance. The DR- Z4SM, designed for supermoto performance, features 17” wheels with 260mm of front and 277mm of rear suspension travel.
An advanced electronics package includes three selectable power modes, two standard traction control settings, a dedicated off-road traction control mode, as well as the option to completely deactivate the system. The DR-Z4S also enables ABS deactivation at the rear or both ends for optimal off-road control, while the DR- Z4SM allows ABS disengagement at the rear.
Both models exhibit styling influenced by Suzuki’ s RM-Z range. The DR-Z4S is available in Suzuki’ s signature off-road yellow and dark grey, while the DR-Z4SM is offered in white and a distinctive Sky Grey blue / grey livery.
Upon arrival in dealerships at the end of summer, purchasers will benefit from Suzuki’ s comprehensive three-year warranty and may take advantage of the extended seven-year service-activated warranty, provided maintenance is conducted by an authorized Suzuki dealership.
Jonathan Martin, Head of Motorcycles at Suzuki GB, commented:“ While these models serve as spiritual successors to the DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM— renowned for their durability and reliability— they advance that legacy with a redesigned chassis and an updated 400cc single-cylinder engine. Our objective was to deliver exceptional performance within each category. For example, the DR-Z4S features a suspension system capable of handling demanding trails while remaining accessible to less experienced riders. Though engine displacement remains consistent with prior DR-Z models, improvements in cumulative torque ensure a linear throttle response and predictable power delivery, essential for challenging terrains or track riding.
“ We anticipate strong interest upon their release and are confident that customers and test riders alike will appreciate the enhanced quality, impressive performance, and Suzuki’ s ongoing commitment to value.”
Both models include Suzuki’ s standard three-year manufacturer warranty and are eligible for the brand’ s extended seven-year warranty scheme through regular servicing at authorized Suzuki dealerships. TRAVERSE
