Dear Editor,
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for Traverse Magazine and the truly inspiring travel stories you continue to publish. For someone like me, who is no longer able to ride, your magazine has become far more than just a collection of articles— it’ s a gateway to the open road and a reminder of the freedom and wonder that travel brings.
Each issue transports me to places I can no longer reach on two wheels, whether it’ s the dusty backroads of Australia or the rugged trails of Nepal. The vivid storytelling, the honest reflections, and the personal narratives of adventure make me feel as though I’ m right there, leaning into the wind and soaking in the sights, smells, and raw beauty of the journey.
While I might have traded my helmet and gloves for an armchair, Traverse’ s stories still stir that restless spirit within me. They remind me that travel isn’ t only about the miles we ride but about the experiences, the people, and the perspective we gain along the way. For someone who thought their days of adventure were over, that’ s a priceless gift.
Thank you for keeping that fire alive for so many of us who can no longer ride but still dream of faraway roads and the next great horizon.
