The man behind the machine is Hamish Goodall, a North Island farm kid turned snow bike pioneer. After discovering the sport while living in North America and completing avalanche safety training in Alberta, Canada, Hamish returned home in 2018 with a container full of snow bike gear and a bold idea: to bring this electrifying sport to the mountains of Aotearoa.
Fast forward a few seasons, and Snowmoto is now a thriving operation based in Cromwell, with access to private land on the Old Man Range, Hector Range, and Pisa Range near Cardrona.
