The Little Black Book Of Motorcycle Wisdom Malcom Nelson 2019 ISBN 978-1-5107405-8-7
A collection of anacdotes by motorcycle riders such as Evel Knievel, Hunter S. Thompson, Ewan McGregor, and Robert Pirsig, The Little Black Book Of Motorcycle Wisdom is an easy read that seems to concentrate on one brand more than the others.
Malcom Nelson has compiled an interesting collection of stories, and quotes, that will keep the reader engrossed long enough before it is time to go for a ride yourself however, there is an issue in that most of the content is freely available online, including the overdone use of stock images.
The Little Black Book Of Motorcycle Wisdom is interesting enough but at aorund $ 40.00 for a paperback on Amazon, it would be hard to justify the outlay.
If you ' re a Harley Davidson fan this might be the book for your or a gift for some one who is, but as an indepth read, you might be best served going for a ride yourself.
Map Junkie: Motorcycle Journeys Terry Boling 2019 ISBN 978-1-0729831-7-0
Ironically it was a motorcycle accident that saw Terry Boling enter the relm of overland motorcycle traveller.
Bored with the usual motorcycle rallies, Boling decided to see his home country, the United States, aboard his bike, and so with it came Map Junkie: My Motorcycle
Journeys.
Boling takes the reader through the USA, visiting famous landmarks, as well as some not so famous, we ' re taken to small club meets and even take on an Iron Butt ride, but it ' s the insights into the ride as well as Boling ' s mindset that impress in Map Junkie: My Motorcycle Journeys.
Map Junkie: My Motorcycle
Journeys comes across as a worthy first attempt however, at times does seem to fade away from the point seeming more like a blog. It doesn ' t really matter as it is an easy read and worth a read through.
We ' d say give Map Junkie: My Motorcycle Journeys a go, it might encourage you to ride the United States.
