CRUISIN ' FOR A CURE

In September 2024 Bob Wozga ' s wife Christine was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive breast cancer, she is currently undergoing 5 months of chemotherapy followed by radiation and hormone therapy.
" Having also recently lost a friend to cancer I am aware of the emotional and physical toll cancer takes on patients and their families," explained Bob. " I am challenging myself to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future."
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, Bob has challenged himself to raise funds to show his support.
Through his passion for motorcycles, Bob is organising a fundraising ride for two and three wheel bikes to come and explore the back roads, and villages of the Southern Highlands and Tablelands of the Australian state of New South Wales.
Starting at Pheasants Nest Service Station and ending at the Criterion Hotel, Crookwell for a late lunch and drinks. The ride will be held on the 20th of September 2025. Bob ' s hoping that as many riders as possible will join him on his ride of support for his wife as well as all who have, or are, battling cancer.
Bob has set up a Doing It For Cancer fundraising page where donations can be made and where he will provide information of the ride, he can also be contacted for further information at- wozgabob @ gmail. com or by phoning 0417 445 419.
