Rally For Rangers had struck an accord , it had become contagious , and as the news spread of what had been achieved many more riders enquired as to how they could become involved . In the ten or so years since , Rally For Rangers has delivered over 190 motorcycles , riding more than 30,000 kilometres , across four continents , and while Mongolia is the mainstay of where the support is supplied other countries to benefit have been Argentina , Bhutan , Namibia , Nepal , Peru , and the United States .
Rally For Rangers draws riders from across the globe with the international reach spreading far , it ’ s becoming an almost pilgrimage for many riders who see it as a way of witnessing a far-off land whilst doing something that helps others .
“ We ’ ve had participants from various countries ,” said Tom Medema , a fellow co-founder of the Rally For Rangers . “ Over the past 10 years , approximately eighty percent of our riders have been from the US , with the remaining twenty or so percent being international , including New Zealand , Australia , Canada , and more recently the United Kingdom and Israel .”
The Rally For Rangers brand was significantly expanded during 2019 when the rally coincided with the World Rangers Congress in Nepal .
“ It brought together approximately five hundred rangers from seventy or eighty countries ,” Tom went on to explain . “ This experience led us to extend our reach to Peru , Namibia , and Bhutan .” “ Any new venture in a different country requires substantial effort ,” Tom and
