THARU LODGE GODAR , NEPAL

Nestled deep within a region of southern Nepal and northern India are a people proud of their heritage , culture , and beliefs . The Terai region , an area that sits between the Sivalik hills and the Indi-Gangetic Plain , is home to the Tharu people , a people that Nepal recognises as its own nationality and the Indian government accepts as a recognised indigenous tribe .
The Tharu are spread from central Nepal to the far west , sharing beliefs yet with a diversity of cultural beliefs that see many differences . Within the Chitwan area is a community dedicated to its heritage , a people who are keen to share their history and express their cultures . It all comes together at a venture called the Tharu Community Lodge .
On the fringe of the Chitwan National Park the Tharu Community Lodge is the perfect place to experience the wonders of nature whilst indulging in a cultural experience
