a stranger in a strange land , witnessing the Australian outback along with mateship that ensured everyone has a chance at success .
A Frontline Safari isn ’ t easy yet is only as hard as a participant ’ s mind allows it . It ’ s a team effort , where egos are quickly weened away , some struggle , most excel . And that ’ s the point of a Frontline Safari , to endure hardships and come through the other end whilst remembering , and at times celebrating , those who have made the sacrifice of being on the frontline either in conflict or civilian duties . A life changing event where friendships are made and participants learn more about themselves than anything else , and a by-product is the chance to witness the harsh Australian landscape in all its beauty .
And what of Mark ? In true spirit of a Frontline Safari , he was helped to the end despite a battered body and an even more beaten bike . His level of tenacity an inspiration to all , as was that of John and Andre , and the five other riders , for this is an event that every rider who considers themselves adventurous should attempt at least once in their lifetime .
