time , perhaps like us attracted by the cool climate . But the main reason that brought us here is the charm of the Dilwara Temple complex dating back to the 11th - 13th century and we greatly regret the ban on photographing even just one of the thousand elegant figures extracted from the white marble that make this place a destination special .
But the time has come to return to Delhi and leave the Land of those Maharajas who " were created by providence ” - as Kipling wrote when he arrived in this region in 1887 – “ to provide the world with picturesque scenery , stories of tiger hunting and grandiose spectacles .”
The road was still long , full of beauty and adventure , but it is strange to see how , by returning to immerse ourselves in the chaotic and honking river of the capital ' s traffic , we had become part of a world that had shocked us so much at the beginning of this exhilarating journey to feel as comfortable as at home . Maybe it ' s not the world that has changed , maybe we have changed . ES & CZ
