TRAVERSE 90
With slightly heavy hearts , we saddled up on the Enfields and pulled out of Tatopani heading towards Pokhara for the last leg of our trip . The final day of riding was all tarmacked roads . The sun was shining , the scenery was as mindblowing as ever – and this was our last chance to give the Enfield ’ s some stick before we all had to depart for our homelands . And give them some stick we did . The smooth tarmac felt like a dream after four days of pretty hardcore off roading – and we each took it in turns to ride ahead in order to call the traffic that was approaching over the Sena intercoms so that the rest of the pack could following behind really have some fun in the corners , safe in the knowledge that they knew the roads up ahead were clear . These shenanigans continued all the way home … and as we finally pulled into Ride Ultimate Adventure ’ s HQ back in Pokhara , six grinning faces
dismounted the Enfield ’ s one final time . High fives , fist bumps and hugs all round as we thanked Bijay and his crew for such a magical trip . We showered up and had one final dinner with Bijay , our guides , the mechanics and the support crew and our Nepal adventure was at a close .
If we have one piece of advice for any prospective Nepal adventurers , it would be this – buy the ticket , take the ride ! IH
