Every time a mountainside comes crashing down an immense amount of gravel is produced and what else is there to do with it but to move it on , a road covering seems like an innovative idea , after all “ those Australians with their red earth riding will find it a bit of fun ”. There was little the three of us could do but laugh , ah New Zealand , please stop ruining perfectly good tracks with a covering of gravel . LW
