The story-coaster has us joining Hagrid flying into the Forbidden Forest , past rare magical creatures , through castle ruins , in both indoor and outdoor environments . At Universal ’ s Islands of Adventure , Hagrid ’ s is the longest roller coaster in Florida , measuring over 1.5 kilometres .
Of course , my ego would only let me choose the motorcycle side of the ride , as I simply couldn ’ t sit as passively in the sidecar . Holding the handlebars , and leaning through the curves added to the thrill of the ride , and made me feel slightly more in control in the uncontrollable and surprising parts of the ride .
OTHER ORLANDO OFFERINGS DEZERLAND
Dezerland Park Orlando is now one the largest indoor amusement parks in Florida , making it an excellent option for getting out of the heat or rain . While it has playgrounds for kids of all ages , from bowling to pinball , and laser tag to trampolines , not to mention its newest attraction of augmented reality experiences , I was particularly drawn to the Auto Museum and the go-kart track .
Within the Auto Museum , there is a Harley Davidson Lounge with an American Indian collection of Harley
it ' s not all bikes and roller coasters , Orlando does have other offerings
