importance , to the " Ds ". They are mostly wide and in good condition , characterised by a natural , gravelly and sometimes sandy surface , often subject to both the accumulation of gravel and the formation of " corrugations " or washboarding .
But it ' s time to leave Windhoek , riding our brand new Royal Enfield Himalayan made available to us by our friends at Namibia Motorcycles , who rent motorbikes or organise guided tours . It ’ s a new addition to the Namibian tourism market that has allowed travellers to experience a little overlanding by exploring Namibia independently . Namibia Motorcycles has twenty of the Indian made machines , spartan yet extremely functional these bikes are made for this type of adventure and where we are to visit .
