capabilities . The Africa Twin was also represented with a 21- inch front and included two versions , one , the ES with Showa EERA electronically controlled suspension and a redesigned front . Also of note at Honda was the radical reinterpretation of the NX500 designed to tackle any route , both road and moderate off road . Refined Evolution Of The Species Yamaha , Ducati , Triumph , three giants of the motorcycling world presented their flagship models at EICMA with the latest evolution of bikes already on the market , each refined to be even more advanced and with hopes of greater share of the adventure market .
The Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid , for example , perhaps the most important success of the Iwata company , presented the GYTR Kit which , developed directly on the race fields by its standard bearers , will allow everyone to transform their motorbike into a rally racing machine . There are no limits other than your wallet , but the choice is many ; from the 48 mm Kayaba fork to the oversized radiator , to the exhaust system and the control unit to gain up to 9 HP in one go . Included are a rally roadbook holder turret , a carbon-Kevlar sump guard , and enlarged front and additional rear fuel tanks .
At Ducati , great attention has been paid to the new Desert X Rally , which in addition to the price also includes an array of equipment that also creates a more race capable bike based around the Erzberdrodeo winning machine of Antoine Meo .
More disappointing than expected was the presence of Triumph which presented three versions of its Tiger ; the GT , the GT Pro , the GT Rally Pro , which differ slightly from each other by the choice of suspension but without
marking a great leap in comparison to the competition .
The presence of the other two Japanese big names was more modest . Suzuki brought to the show , alongside the two proposals dedicated to adventure touring such as the V-Strom 1050 and 800 which , have already been on the market for a few months , the latest evolution of its GSX - S 1000 which shares the high-performance engine ( 152 hp ) of its GSX namesake . The bike is fitted with an array of bags that make this model an excellent choice for fast tourism . On the touring bike front , however , Kawasaki missed the boat , a disappointment that was shared with KTM presenting only an updated 890 SMT . And The Chinese ? A lack of technical advancement and design inventiveness was evident in the bikes from the Land of the Dragon . The only one that convinced they were onto something was Kove which , after their exploits in the 2023 Dakar brought international notice , presented the Kove 800X with three versions : Adventure , Adventure Pro , and Rally . All share the same powerplant but feature different specifications , equipment , and costs .
QJ Motor , however , disappointed expectations as it presented the SVT650 and SRT800 SX . It feels as if the internal struggle with Benelli , of which it owns control with 70 %, has dried up the innovative strength of both companies .
On the other hand , with its presentation of a beautiful concept like the Mt-x , CF Moto , which also brought the interesting 450mt to Milan , was saved . The bike features a 499-cc parallel twin capable of delivering 44 hp . Without emotion , the definitive version of the Valico DS900X by Voge , one of the brands belonging to Loncin Motorcycle , the Chinese company that has been collaborating with BMW Motorrad for almost a decade , it was no surprise that the DS900X is equipped with the 895- cc inline twin adopted from BMW ' s F 900 series . Of note is the smaller sister of only 292 cc , the single-cylinder Valico 300 Rally .
In addition to the motorcycle manufacturers the world of accessories was well represented especially those aimed at travel and adventure . As always EICMA was a huge success and now the dreams of motorcycle travel begin … ES & CZ
