Reaching Marysville , a town recently rebuilt after the Black Saturday bushfires , the line of Spyders formed at the Gallipoli Park Sports and Recreation Centre for lunch . Another local community that became heavily involved in the days activities providing everyone with warm drinks and hospitality .
Full bellies and tales of the morning ’ s ride was enough for all as the snake of bikes set off on another road famous for being a riders delight , the Black Spur . Back into rainforests and dense undergrowth on what many beamed was Australia ’ s best riding road to make their way back to the Healesville base and a chance to sample more local fare or warm by a fire .
The evenings dinner a gala affair where prize giving was bountiful and awards presented , Best Wrap to the Marvel inspired Spyder of Joanne Bell , Best Ryker to Debbie Hamblyn who also took awards for Best of Show and the Peoples Choice , Beth Roantree ( Best RT ), Craig Webster ( Best F3 ).
