local situation , to learn from it and be able to give something back . Children of Rohingya is an example of how becoming absorbed in a community has taught and provided an avenue to pass on knowledge .
“ Starting a refugee centre , on a grassroots level isn ’ t easy ,” suggested Kreer . “ It comes with its own challenges , so we truly appreciate support to give these children the best environment for an education . A basic human right .”
The Children of Rohingya project is seeking financial donations of any amount that can help with basics such as ; rent , educational materials , classroom furniture , clothing , food , and other essentials .
Kreer and the other Children of Rohingya volunteers hope that they can show the kids a world without fear and marginalisation , a world where the basics many take for granted become an accepted norm , where education is foremost , for educating the children of Rohingya will see them “ shine , when we empower them ”.
