My first introduction to Kyrgyzstan and more importantly its capital city , Bishkek .
Unlike many capital cities around the world , Bishkek seemed to be a valid representation of the Kyrgyz psyche . Decidedly Soviet , yet trying to find a more ancient past , something that represents the true nature of the Kyrgyz people and culture .
