CAKE , the Swedish maker of premium lightweight electric motorcycles , has unveiled the Bukk platform , a highly customisable version of the Limited Edition Bukk electric off-road performance motorcycle that was launched in November of 2022 .
CAKE continues to deliver a category-leading power-toweight ratio with its electric drivetrain , forged aluminium frame and CAKE designed components ; the lightest configuration is 89 kilograms . With " Jante ", the newly CAKE developed IPM ( Internal Permanent Magnet ) motor maxing at 16kW , and the quick swap 72V battery , the Bukk delivers 456 Nm of instant torque accelerating from 0-45 km / h in 2.15 seconds .
The Jante ’ s innovative design makes it CAKE ’ s most optimised IPM motor with radial flux for efficiency and power , low cogging that allows smooth acceleration and precision handling at low speeds , and its air-cooled system allows high torque at high RPM . The motor is rated at IP67 and allows it to operate in any condition .
Designed from the ground up and utilising the latest Internal Permanent Magnet ( IPM ) motor technology , the Jante delivers unprecedented efficiency , power and reliability that aims to revolutionise performance standards of lightweight electric motorcycles . With a lightweight but robust construction , featuring an aircraftgrade aluminium housing and dual-bearing shaft , the Jante motor is designed for optimised performance in lightweight electric vehicles . Allowing low and high voltage drivetrains to hit speeds over 100km / h and torque numbers over 500Nm on the rear wheel .
